My 5 yr. old's 1st trip

MikeA, bream are a good place to start with kids, I remember my first trip when I was less than 10 years old catching 4" and 5" bluegill in a stunted 1 acre pond. It excited me to see a big bass swimming in the algae, we couldn't catch it, but finally I got a bluegill about 8" and thought I had a hog. Later, catching suckers, bream, hornyheads, and bullheads in a creek in my grandparents' back yard led me to many years of fishing.

It looks like he was having a good time. Definitely treasure every minute with them they grow up way to fast. Thanks for sharing....

He will grow up to be a better person for you spending time and fishing with him now. Looks like he was having a great time and lasting 4hrs the first trip is great.
