    Well tried again about the same results, lots of little ones , water temp 78...... creeks muddy lookin, maybe need rain?
    Where are the "keeper" size gills? Not in the usual places even the shellcrackers are too small ! told the wife I`m tired of catching fish "nuggets":rolleyes:
    Didn`t try the fly rod , too windy............
    Todays catch, what we`ve caught all summer.......................

    Pat is it possible the creek you're fishing is muddy from alot of boat traffic?

    Not much boat traffic, all the creeks form in the "swamp" land here (NENC).
    The swamps filter out the sediment then the water flows into the creeks, then to the river, then to the sound........... no rain no flow...........

    I found out the bigger gills are right on the botton in the summer
