This happened a couple weeks ago and if memory serves me right Slab had made some changes to the site and it accidentally got turned on, I wouldn't be suprised if it happened again and would bet they are gone next time he logs on.

Certain key words as you have noticed now highlight a sales pitch in any reply or post. I don't think I have ever seen this tactic used before.
I think its over the top in too. Not many websites that aren't decorated from top to bottom with ads, but now, in our own replies?
I'd much rather make a donation to this website than see it turn into a rolladex of ads.

Goodnight Vienna...Pistols Firing!!!
It was no accident. Ed was testing a new Ad system and getting a feel from us on it. It was a major flop. He had it pulled. Evidently, he has gone to another one, same style, not as many highlighted words. I have a feeling that it might be something we need to get used to. Ed is very flexible, but, it's also about making some money.
The words are easy to ignore and at least they are not flashing green and pink. I'm certain he understands what overkill would do to his traffic.
Reaper, Where Fish come to Fry
Well, I know there are expenses in running a website and its none of my business how Ed runs his site. No big deal to me. If it gets to where it bothers me, I can always spend more time with a fishing pole in my hand.:D
