Atta Boy LR! I know many bass fishermen and MOST of them a nice people. The few that I know that belong to bass clubs and fish their tournaments are arrogant, greedy and real A--H---s. I had two spend a weekend at my cabin as a guest. I hosted and provided some meals and lodging. I fished in their tournament and was treated as an outsider and a second rate person. Needless to say they will never park their boats on my property again.

I usually just thank the Lord that I don't have to live with them and move on. Think about it, some people have to work with that guy every day! Somebody has to eat Christmas dinner with that guy. You don't get to choose your relatives. Whew, just thinking about it makes me thankful!
Jeremiah 16:16a "But now I will send for many fishermen," declares the Lord, "and they will catch them."

Now that's funny LR. My hats off to the Mrs.. From the sounds of it I wouldn't want to get cross ways with her. I'm sure you have never done that have you? If so I bet you learned very quickly to bite your tongue and say nothing.

Thanks for all the response....all of them good.....if the Boston Whaler had at least said hello...or anything...I would have invited them in...and even shared a beer with them....but his motor revving, and glaring, was a definate turn off. I had friends with me from Lake Tenkiller...who show me some good winter crappie fishing, and they always enjoy the spring at my house on Eufaula, and they coud not beleive anyone would get that close. OK I know that Rock Creek and Crowder Cove are going to get pounded by tourist's....but with the high wind....it was the safest place.....
Next time....I'll go back to the tried and true....south of SH 31 in Gaines, Elm, or Ash Creeks.....
    again thanks for the response
    and good fishin

I lost a good fishing buddy to " bass fishing". At the start of one of their tournaments he and his partners boat got swamped and sunk and not one of those butheads would stop to help them. They just passed them by saying sorry guys I've got a tournament to win. They lost a lot of tackle that just floated away. This is a lifelong friend and hunting and fishing buddy, so I did give him some pretty solid ribbing about it. Heck I can't swim good enough to be a bass fisherman. Ha:D
Last time I saw a mouth like that it had a hook in it!
