I powder paint all my jig heads and have never heard of the fluid bed. Guess that's part of me not paying attention or just simply not knowing to ask about it. I pour allot of road runner jigs and the biggest problem I have with powder painting them is the paint that gets on the swivel. If anyone has any way of keeping it off of the swivel I would appreciate knowing what that is. Plus I would like to learn more about this fluid bed.

Thanks Stinkfinger. I have never seen this before. I went to the website that was listed on your link and that is what I would say very neat how it makes the powder look like liquid. I think I may have to make one myself and try it.

A little PVC and some hose and small air pump and a shut off vavle. May have to try this out in the next couple of days.

I find it easier to buy RR by the 50 or 100 packs already painted.

I'm sure it is, but when you sit here for 12 hrs a day on shift work and things get really boring I can always pour up some jigs and roadrunners and paint them. I guess it's just the satisfaction of knowing you made them yourself.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out if you go ahead and make one yourself.

Hey, by the way, you guys ever notice that the "ads by google" up above our topics are always subject related? If we're posting something about two-headed babies, there will be an advertisement for combs. Or if we make a post related to singing armadillos, there will be ads for sheet music.

I'm sure most of you have noticed this. Just a little bit of technology we take for granted and how they can tailor their ads per programming.

So, I'm going to bed now and don't be surprised if there is an ad pop up for Serta bedding........ hahahaha.

    Will do Stinkfinger.

Hey some day I will come by and pick you to go out on Eufaula. Caught a ton of crappie there last summer. As long as you can stay in the boat at 75 mph while heading out to a fishing hole. LOL

Nope, thanks anyway..... bout 10mph is fast enough for this ol toot. Read my comments about speed in the pontoon thread I have going. Says it all. But you're always welcome to come by for a cup of coffee and if you want to fish here in this cove, don't mind my slow lil pontoon....... then come on by.

    g'nite
