Fireman; Give me some details on what you were doing and I will compare to Eufaula, as these 2 lakes usually turn on about the same time, Kerr has some weedbeds along the shoreline see anyone jiggin these?

First day I put in at cowling ton and fished ponts and shallow water with jigs and minnows. Today I went a total of about 4 miles up san bois and jigged the bank and brush behind islands and it was a no go.

Fireman; Try cork/jiggin out from better looking bank areas, they should not be too far out. Any baitfish visable?

Go to 1-1/8oz. jig and rig it with a Garland stroller, it will put off added vibes in the water put it under a small cork [ just big enough to float it] and fancast your areas, you want to cover as much water as possible to locate them, they are agressive now and will inhale a jig, set it 1-3' to start out...go get e'm!!!
