Thread: Pasture Pond, 6/14

Got out early with a buddy for a couple hours before the heat ran us off. We try to take a few crappie out of this pond each trip to help keep them in check; not sure it’s doing much good, but they’ will be a welcome addition on our table. Also managed several chunky bass on topwater.

I’ am pretty sure this was my first time seeing bluegill beds like this.
