I got out for a while yesterday afternoon.
Winds 16 steady gusts to 32,
I didn’t mind the wind, but the swirling from different directions was a pain.
Fish bit good if you could stay on em.

What depth are you guys catching them? I find lots of fish on live scope at up to 45ft deep on trees but if one doesn't catch them you never know what kind of fish are there. Having difficulty catching the fish I see shallower (< 20ft) without live bait. I've caught some fish that deep intermittently but not consistent so don't know whether to spend more time there or shallower. Appreciate the help and thanks for posting your catches as it helps motivate us all.
I’ve been catching some 20 to 30 ft deep on a dock in the brush. Crappie are finicky, some days are great, some days you are happy to catch one or two. Based on livescope viewing they are always there, just not feeding. I’ve hit them in the nose with tasty jigs and they just swim away.

Redge, what’s the good primary colors for Tenkiller? I haven’t really crappie fished it since they shut Caney Ridge down many years ago.

Cold front Thursday, seem 2 days after a front fish are reluctant to eat.

Attachment 447235Attachment 447236 Went out on Monday and did pretty well. Was same on saturday The key is these guys were all deep .....30-40 ft on trees in deep water. They are tight to the trees and as usual won't chase much distance ...as seen on live scope. Minnows best but can coax with jigs also
Congratulations on finding em.
Very nice Denver!

Went and checked on the fish yesterday evening.
Seemed to be biting pretty well.
Had some excitement, winch strap that holds the boat on the trailer broke, and the boat was drifting out into the lake!
Contemplated swimming, decided it was to cold for that! LOL
The good Lord helped me out, and it drifted to the dock!!!
Guess who’s changing straps today.
Did catch a few fish.

I don’t remember that particular day, usually alternating days between Barnacle Bills and Cypress on Gibson. Normal crappie fishing, some good, some bad, and some ugly days lol.

Congratulations sir! Glad to see your having success
Well it was windy and variable directions.
WT 43
It wasn’t on fire, I do contemplate whether a full moon at night, yields better afternoon fishing?
Any input is appreciated.
