I got out for a while yesterday afternoon.
Winds 16 steady gusts to 32,
I didn’t mind the wind, but the swirling from different directions was a pain.
Fish bit good if you could stay on em.

I’ve been catching some 20 to 30 ft deep on a dock in the brush. Crappie are finicky, some days are great, some days you are happy to catch one or two. Based on livescope viewing they are always there, just not feeding. I’ve hit them in the nose with tasty jigs and they just swim away.Quote:

They are tight to the trees and as usual won't chase much distance ...as seen on live scope. Minnows best but can coax with jigs also

Went and checked on the fish yesterday evening.
Seemed to be biting pretty well.
Had some excitement, winch strap that holds the boat on the trailer broke, and the boat was drifting out into the lake!
Contemplated swimming, decided it was to cold for that! LOL
The good Lord helped me out, and it drifted to the dock!!!
Guess who’s changing straps today.
Did catch a few fish.
