Glad your getting tuned up Ikeni!
I didn’t get to fish last weekend because of cold. Felt like 7.
Also 4” of snow. Didn’t want to play with iced ramp.
Going early this weekend, hope to put a hurt on them!

Would have gone but a little to warm for me!!!!!!
That's strange about the ducer. I use livescope for ice fishing and have never seen that problem yet.
Made it out on Killer Saturday morning.
26 degrees with a 15-20 breeze.
It was COLD!!!!
I eventually gave up and went back to the heat.
Fish are deep, 42 in 65-80.
Hoping for warmer weather!!

Came down to de-winterize the RV last week. Didn't bring the boat but got in a couple days of fun on little Greenleaf creek and the Barron Fork playing with my BFS stuff. Some folks came by and gave me an offer I couldn't refuse on the RV, deck and shed setup here. If it goes thru next week I'll miss the Smallmouth fishing and have to find a new home lake. I'm thinking Arbuckle for the clear water like here and decent, not great, Smallies. What I won't miss is the 3 hr one way drive. Arbuckle will cut that in half. The crappie fishing there is about the same as here. If it doesn't go thru I'll have my boat here next month.

It's a done deal. Those folks sure picked a time to move in with all this sleet. I guess my new home lake will be wherever my old pup tent is for a day or two, or wherever my camper is for a week or two.

Personally I think that’s the best option anyway buddy not tied down to one lake

Have been super busy at work.
That caused me to miss a couple weekends of fishing.
Then to much snow and ice to make it our to the blacktop.
Finally got to go yesterday
Looked at the spring pattern, nada.
Fish still deep.
I think I would’ve had a limit but it started raining on me.
It was odd, looked at the radar on my phone and it showed no rain, however my eyes showed me differently.

Well skipping a few weeks saved some on gas money. Lol
You eyes must have been mistaken. We all know technology never lies. :)
Found these roamers in 15 to 18 ft of water today on Tenkiller. Big was 2lb 11 oz.Attachment 421784

Nice!
Nice fishnwiz….don’t need where caught info, but curious on lure and presentation for mid March. What water temps did you see?

We caught them all on cutthroat Blue ice jigs. They were all single roamers. Buddy has the livescope so just trolling looking for fish in 15 to 18 ft in 20 ft water. Water temp was 47 in morning around 51 later in afternoon. We spent several hours looking for schools in deeper water and around docks and bridges but couldn’t find any.

I should have went there. Good fishing on Gibson all week, today 1 fish in 3 hours. Really wish they would open Caney back to the public.

Your killing it again sir! Congratulations
Caney Ridge Marina. Should have added fishing at Caney. Use to be a great crappie dock, $5 to fish all day but closed to public fishing now. Use to be one of the best ones around.

Gj guys. I went out Saturday afternoon. Looked like a bass tournament was going on when I pulled into the ramp. I caught 3 drum. WT 55-60. North end looked dirty, middle lake had better water clarity. Going on 2 years and I still can't seem to find a solid honey hole there. Congrats to you guys who have it dialed in, tenkiller is a tough lake for me.
Spawn will be here soon, makes it easier to find them. When I had a boat I spent most of my time chasing smallmouth so I can’t offer much help for non spawning fish. But I’d check around Caney Ridge Marina and Barnacle Bills. Both are good docks for winter fish. Bound to be some around them.

Went and checked on the fish.
Got a surprise at the ramp, had another 2.5” of rain water was up and dirty.
Took a while to find fish that wanted to bite.
WT 59
A little breezy.

Another glorious afternoon trip!
Turned lots of big fish back, to make us more crappie.
I’m not sure it helps, but it can’t hurt, and it makes me feel better.
