While I was on the water a friend of mine called and said he was driving from Ardmore to McAlester and wanted to know if he could stop and fish a while as he was passing thru. I picked him up at the boat ramp and at one of the places we fished he caught a 22” Striper on a 5’ crappie rod spooled with 6# line. You should have seen us trying to keep up with that Striper in high wind using the trolling motor. That made my friends day. I got the bonus of having someone help me load the boat on a windy day. .
