I haven't been to Longmire in almost two years but the last time I went it was loaded with crappie that were small but healthy. If they survived they should be skillet sized by now. I have had better luck in the creek channel than on the trees. For a long time the city let the water level fluctuate too much and it was hard on the crappie population. I think they have been managing it a little better lately.
