Today’s fishing could be best described as having maximum vacum. In layman’s terms, it really sucked. I never got a single crappie strike. All I caught was 3 Striper. All 3 in the 26” range and while they were fun to catch that doesn’t keep them from being trash fish.

To date, I have never caught a crappie in the main lake here at Texoma in February. I plan on changing that this year. It’s kind of like flipping a switch on January 31. For me they just turn off. I usually wind up going to Eufaula a few times in February. I plan on resisting that urge this year. I may have a lot of dry trips but I am going to stay after them here on Texoma till I figure something out.
