Just missed the lake record by a little over an ounce. Good day on the water. Caught close to 80 fish kept a limit

Lake is in great shape. Elevation is back to normal. Lots of smaller males on the bank. Bigger fish are holding in 10 to 15 fow. Females still full of eggs but are going to bank in different stages. Water temp reached 70 deg yesterday With the temperatures, it won't last long. They are now using Coon Creek ramp. Good luck.

Catching some monster crappie. Caught close to 100 fish today keeping a few. Checked a couple of females they are ready. Water temp reached 73.5 deg today.

Really nice, Tim. Jason and I fished it, but we missed the early bite, and only got about ten good ones. Switched over to blues and did well.

Jason Denney was nice enough to take me out on his boat yesterday. We got some crappie, mostly on plastic, before going after some blues. We didn't kill 'em, but got seven, up to 16 pounds. This one was 15. It was definitely a Gatorade (which I forgot to bring) day. Might have to go to Montana early this year if the temps keep rising.
