Thread: 2016 Gaines Creek Challenge Details:

Guys if you are planning on coming there is a ton of visible cover to fish, stumps, laydowns, brush, bodark trees, rocks, old bridge pilings. If you love dippin and have never fish a tournament with us this is a blast. The report lately has been the creek is both stained to muddy water which means they will be shallow and when I say shallow don't be afraid to fish in 1-2 ft of water. The biggest fish that I know of that has come out of this creek this year was back in the spring caught by cpd21 and it weighed 2.58lbs. Good Luck to everyone! Sign-up: 6:00-7:00am at the boat ramp and get launched.

• You can fish anywhere in Gaines creek from 31 bridge up the creek. You can not go out into the lake.
• We will all launch and leave from Hickory point boat ramp at 7:00.

Will there be an additional $20 fee for those fishing that have not already paid the membership fee this year, and if so can winners be qualified for the classic just like any of the other tourneys? Does one bait mean artificial only?
