Redge I run a Driftmaster T250HC on my boat with 5 gunslinger rod holders. I ordered it directly from black river tools. Bass pro sells the T250 but it has standard rod holders and the gunslingers are a lot better. Comes with 4 and I ordered an extra because there was plenty of room on the t-bar. I know there are several great spider rig companies out there this is just the one we use. We originally got them to spider rig the shallow water flats on lakes we fish in Arkansas but use them here when conditions allow. We run 5- 12 ft rods with a soft tip and usually a 1 ounce weight depending on depth, which is normally 4 to 18 ft. I here a lot of folks running 14 to 16 ft rods but we have done really well on the 12 footers. I can see where they may need them fishing 2 to 5 fow clear water but up here we are fishing ledges, rip rap and over brush piles. We have tried both the 3 way swivel and just a double loop above the weight for the top hook / jig head and really can't tell the difference other than the loop is a lot faster to rig. We run multiple colored jigs always tipped with minnows. We don't wrap the line through the weight like the Caps and Coleman rig but use the new rubber pegs you can buy because it allows you to adjust your weight up and down easier. I know we love it and will produce fish when other ways won't.
