Thunderbird and Overholster will be closest. I've never fished them though.

Hello, and Welcome. Ditto Thunderbird is the closest to Moore. Although lake levels hamper dock operations. A couple of "close to home" lakes offer fair opportunity, especially the fishing dock at Chrystal lake. Google Oklahoma close to home lakes for a list.

Just get to know a couple of our members down that way and hitch a ride on their boat. That's how we roll.

For a couple hours in the evening, there are ponds at South Lakes Park , SW 119th and I-44 . SW 119th is the same street as N 12th Street in Moore.

The east pond has some good fishing, IDK bout the two ponds on the west.

Park is an OKC City park, you will need an OKC license.

OKC has also purchased a small lake near Draper, called Kitchen Lake. Its just north of Moore, west of the Stanley Draper dam. I've not been there, not heard much about it, cept the City bought it three years ago and were managing it for fishing.

I'm headed out the door now, but I'll see if I can find more info later.
