Wister topped the spillway this morning, the basin received about 4-1/2" of rainfall last night. There has already been one flood related drowning in the lower Poteau river flood plain from the last flood.
The level at Broken Bow is currently 624.5'. Spillway elevation is 627.5. Right now inflow is exceeding outflow by about 30,000cfs. Rain in the forecast from Friday to Tuesday. Looks like the Bow is going to overtop for the second time in its history. The trout fishermen will not be happy campers........
