I got on amazon and bought a 600' role of 1/2" 3 strand poly rope. I carry 400' of continuous rope. an anchor on each end. most of the time, you only use about 300'. you can lock that boat down and fish a single twig if you would like. I prefer not to anchor, but sometimes it is the best choice for the time or type of fishing you are doing.
