My dad and 5 of his friends are coming out from the west coast to go fishing for a week. They are all 73-77 years old and a couple have bad knees so I'm trying to find some spots that I could take them to bank fish that would be easily accessible for the and that I could put some lawn chairs on to sit and ideally catch some fish and that I can get there by car as my boat won't carry them all. I know crowder east and west and that area but are there any other spots N. Or S end of lake that anyone might recommend? Any help would be great I live in longtown but haven't learned my way around yet? Please and thank you and feel free to message me .

Thanks Andy I appreciate the help. Hopefully I'll get a couple more people on here with some suggestions and give them some variety.

South end ,,,Elm point east of the ramp pretty user friendly ,, the cut on east side of Massey point, fish creek is good and I have never fished near this one but I see people fishing on the sw side of juniper point. I don't really know too many productive spots on north end that are easily accessible maybe belle star marina the rest aren't too easy to get to
hope it helps a lil anyway

We did really well at Juniper Point at this time last year. It is the spot at the end of the the road that goes to the left. There is a very short down slope to a sand bar that is very level and has room for 10 to 12 people. Most people fished from their lawn chairs. There is a lot more room on the bank opposite the sand bar,but it is not as easy to access. Good luck.
Thanks everyone for the help. I'm going to hop in the car Sunday and go scout the spots and figure out how to get to them. I really appreciate the info. It will be a great time having my Dad and all of his friends out here.. old Navy stories and fishing should make for a great week .
Another place you might try is the "hospital lake", just west of 69 and north of hiway 9. I have never fished it, but used to see lots of people fishing along the east bank. It has pretty easy access.
Yep with bob.....called Bunny Creek.....turn at the hospital and go south on the access road to the Masonic Lodge...turn west.....before you get on the bridge pull to the right and check those spots out
Also if you want to catfish...paradise point has a boat ramp with good bank and emerald bay right next to it that you can drive to the water on the road (west of Checotah)...alot of people crappie fish off the emerald bay area

I have a friend that takes his vacation every year to work Fish Creek over for a couple of weeks.
He wade fishes it but there is bank fishing available as well.
Another couple to consider is Gentry creek just west of Checotah on 266 like your going to Hitchita. A couple miles west of the intersection of 266 and 72 is a large concrete whistle under the highway and if the crappie move up it can be a great spot!
Graves Creek Just west of Hitchita as some nice banks just north of the boat ramp, short walk of may 25 -50 yards and there is some good brush in the water to fish around. Grave is either on or off so I would keep it as a backup plan. It's uaulayy best in Feb or March. However fish are there year round. This time of year I would fish about 6 - 8' deep out about 20 ft from bank, it would hit a nice drop off.
Get out an have fun! And good luck.
