Thread: CRAPPIE & COFFEE / OKC

Surgery was a success Bob. The incision 16 inches makes it tough to get around at times since it has been 8 days. The leg is still swollen a lot. I can not sit in a car. I have to sit the full length of the back seat to support the leg. I can not cross my legs or bend the left leg less than 90 degrees toward the posterior ever again. So the boss says I must sit this one out. The mind says let's go and the body laughs.

I'm getting anxious to meet everyone on Saturday! Just hope we don't get snowed out!

Local weather, although cool, looks good for driving conditions into OKC on Saturday. Was beginning to think I couldn't make it over some health issues but left the Doc yesterday and he has gotten my hearing somewhat functional again so I plan on being there. Can't wear my hearing aids yet so you'll probably hear a few "Huh"s from me. If you are free to join us come on down.

I've worn hearing aids many years and maybe I can pass on some current info for you.

UPDATE: Thirteen (13) folks have indicated they will be at the 1st Crappie & Coffee! My wife is coming down for a few minutes just to meet the guy who sat out on his patio in 35 degree weather for two hours reading a book testing his cold weather clothes. I promise I did not mention your name Floyd aka IkenI.

I can't imagine what my life would be like without Dave to "help" me (and Floyd) ! LOL!
