I've had the Bogs Arctic Roamer for a few years. They are heavy and ugly, but they are warm.

Here's 10 suggestions I just received in an email. I was afraid to check the price of some of it!

Tried out the Muck Arctic Ranger Boots yesterday. Was pleasantly surprised or amazed at how well they fit, felt, light, warmth, for a rubber boot. Granted it was only 35 degrees but also had a 20mph NW wind. Was on the water for 4 hours and never got cold feet. Only concern I had was after taking my boots off my Wool Socks were moist from sweat. Being a rubber bottomed boot I somewhat expected this and can live with that no problem. Over all I was very pleased with the performance and would recommend them as well.......Ranger

Ranger - I saw your post on FB of your new Muck boots. Glad to hear they are going to work well for you. I've now got on my wish-list a pair of the Arctic Sport boots. Sitting at the dock last weekend, my feet were the only thing that got cold. For coveralls, I had one of the guys at our Denver Airport location send me a pair that the guys wear outside in the snow all day - a bit bulky, but kept me very warm. Not sure of the name though, I'll have to check the next time we go back to the lake. I like the suggestion of winter golf gloves as well. I just kept my hands in my pocket with hand warmers (wife bought me a big box of them for Christmas).
