    Thanks, guys.

    Redge, I DID go fishing for about two hours at CB. Wanted to see if the saugeyes would hit a 5 inch fluke on a 1/4 oz. jig. Surprise! Surprise! I got fifteen crappie on that big old thing. Switched to a Thump Huntin' Jig from DrNip (black and pink) and slayed 'em. Most were 11-12 1/4 inchers.

    Winter time- bout time to break out the micro jigs. Nope! More good news from Bigsky country! When my son, Crappiefool41 went to school there he always flang (past tense of flung) a dink crappie towards the open water and says he always scored nice eyes with that rig.

    Glad you got out and the fish cooperated Big Sky!! Big baits catch big crappie, I know it's been said before. Of course the little ones will eat it also.
