Man those look like crappie to me, but if they wouldn't bite, I would think they are BIG gizzard shad.

saw the same thing yesterday and got blanked......saw and tried several locations that looked like this with no luck at all

That thick and shallow I think I might cast a net just to resolve the mystery. Pretty sure my head might explode otherwise.

I have seen that myself and those fish like that are hard to catch unless you have brush, or a ledge, or rocks around. I dont know why other than maybe they need to feel hid so they can ambush the baitfish. IDK EB

This looks a lot like what Allen and I saw on the nav channel yesterday. We saw this a couple times except it was way thicker. We tried fishing it but no dice.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday too except using a landing net.

He always thinks those are crappie!! LOL My thoughts are bait!!! If they are crappie they are not vedry big. Just my opinion though!!
