Thread: 100% Gas for Crappie Camp

About 5 miles south on H69 in the town of Crowder, they sell 100% gas at 2 stations. At the first one is where you'll also find minnows for sale.

You can also get 100% gas at a couple of places in the town of Eufaula. The Sinclair station usually has the best price. If I can't find it I park the boat till I can! And even with it I treat the gas ever time I put it in the boat.

The nearest town is Canadian (where you exit off H69 for Arrowhead State Park). They do not sell 100% gas nor do they sell bait (other than worms). But they do have a Dollar General Store - what small town doesn't.

In the State Park there is Area 51 Marina -- they have sold bait in the past but due to new management, I'm not sure if they still do or not. And the last I checked, they did not sell gas so there isn't anyplace close that sells gas on the water.

Crowder America and Lakeside Store will be the closest for gas

Want to hear some sad news? I was told that Oklahoma is about to require that all gas have at least 10% ethanol. That will do in our two old vehicles. They really struggle if we go out of state and have to use that corn squeezin's stuff. My mechanic says that a recent trip to Missouri (where the state requires the 10% ethanol) has caused our old van some problems. He says that we should use the highest octane ethanol stuff we can find, if we have to use it.
