I hung a pair of reading glasses off of my steering wheel the other day but didn't put the cover on the boat because I was going out again 2 days later. I'm not even sure why I thought about them being there in the sun but I did and man am I thankful I did. I actually thought about one of those survival shows where the guy used some glasses to start a fire and I kind of panicked but thought, "no way". Got home at lunch and went over to get them out and sure enough, there was a small burnt line in the carpet right where the sun was going through the glasses. No telling what could have happened if I hadn't thought about that.
