    Default Broken Bow

Fished Carson Creek area yesterday. WT 63.5 in morning 70 by 2:00. No one catching crappie. Talk to two guy, one from Tx. and one from Tulsa, they had fished tues. never got a crappie. Talked to a local on the lake who fished it a lot, said he couldn't find them either.

Everybody said they heard that they were tearing them up at Holly creek. I went to the wrong place again!!!

just got back from 4 days of fishing at Bow. Spawn is over and fish were scattered. fished from carson all the way up to bull creek. pretty tough. caught mostly males in 15-20' water. used what locals call "green weinie" colored grubs. fished right on bottom and as slow a retrieve as possible. I would concentrate on bull creek. there is a long cove/creek on north side of creek that I saw lots of suspended fish right in the mouth. I would have liked to spent some more time in there. I would try the creek channels using spider rigging. the wind was HORRIBLE! could not get out of it. Good luck and headed to oolagah monday. Heard that tahala might be the ticket.
