I've been having issues with Roadrunner heads lately. Blades won't turn and they're just so expensive anymore. I came across the "Charlie Bee" the other day on the net and it seemed like a quite simple idea that I could make myself with a collarless jighead, crane swivel, split ring and blade. Just have to solder the swivel to a jighead and assemble the rest. All the materials are easy to get but I've never seen one of these baits in action or for sale to know if they work any better than the Roadrunner head or not. Does anyone have any experience with these?
