I tried one of the Carbonlite spinning reels last year. My initial impression was good but the drag malfunctioned soon after & I sent it back. Ended up buying another President. Those Pfluegers are hard to beat. IMO

Nope Notta Never have 9. I is usually just wear em plum out and send em back to repair center in Sunny Cali and have them totally repaired for $19. Spirex and Scynopate are the models I have. For the price the Scynopate is hard to beat.....Ranger

Josh (Swollencrappie) I set that new Carbon Lite outside on the ice for 3hrs and the picked it up and casted it several times and was as smooth as a babies butt. Don't know if they got the message from all the returns or not but this one works fine after laying on the ice in the shade for 3 hrs.........Ranger

Swollen, try a tennesee handle rod sometime. You can move the reel wherever you want and balance almost any reel out no matter which model.
