The Falls Inn is a great bed and breafast. You can plug your boat in to electric. I have stayed with them a few times. They are no on the lake therefore no ramp.

I suggest gleaning information from the forum on where they are biting before I would rent a place. Spring spawn usually starts down South, Gaines Creek and slowly goes North as the spawn progresses. There's more luck to it than science, but you can get a pretty good idea where to start from the fishing reports start streaming in around the middle of March and then on. Anywhere near Crowder is a good starting point...........good luck.

Gains creek is legendary but you have to be careful with all of the cover. You do not want to hit an underwater stump. We actually have one of our Oklahoma Crappie.com Tourneys there.

American Cabins gets my vote. We stayed there two years ago for a tournament on Eufaula. The cabins are nice, quiet, has place to plug in boat (just bring extension cord) and the owners are VERY nice. Dont have a single bad thing to say about that place.

Was thinking to go down mid march, anyone now a good place to stay with a fifth wheel, preferably with a ramp close by and close to good fishing for that time of year, any help appreciated...

Several place come to mind for a 5th wheel. Juniper Point, Rock Creek, Crowder (has a few hook ups just outside of the ramp road) Arrowhead. All these are on the south end pretty much.......Ranger

Depends on whether you need sewer hookups or just a dump station.

For cabins, I'll put another vote for American Cabins. We had some friends stay there last summer and they really liked it -- it's pretty new so it's still nice. As mentioned, a little tricky coming out of from the boat ramp -- straight out from the cove is shallow, so stay to the right till you get out to the channel markers. Most of the lake doesn't have markers -- from 9A bridge south, there are markers till you get close to Rock Creek Cove. If the lake is down, I strongly suggest staying in the channel.

For 5th wheel camping, I would suggest Area 51 in Arrowhead. They have a nice campground and a fairly new marina (no gas though). But it's cheaper to trailer your boat back to Canadian and fill up there. There's also a Dollar General store in Canadian and they have good selection of food supplies. Area 51 does not have full hookups (no sewer), but there is a dump station on the way out of the campground. There are other campgrounds in Arrowhead but Area 51 is the only one with a marina and slips to rent.
