Vicious 10 is what I use also on my rigging poles. I use mono rigging cause of the stretch in case of a hang up. There is no stretch in braid.....Ranger

Ranger, if your tying a mono leader on to the braid what knot do you prefer?

Those of you that are fishing Braid there is one thing to remember..Some Rod Manufactures will void the warranty if you break a rod tip or any other part of the rod while using braid. Just A Heads Up, Check Your Warranty..Here's something I do when using braid and I'm sure most of you do, and thats back the drag off your reel so you can pull the line off very easily. Reason being is there is not any give in braid compared to mono. This will help with broken rod tips, but also allow a good hook set. Just a tidbit of information.......Ranger

Yucatan Knot is what I use for tying mono to braid.....I don't use it much cause I don't want a weak link between me and a big fish.....Ranger
