    I am watching crappie fishing on tv and wishing I was somewhere fishing for crappie instead of watching it on tv

    Drive to Lake Carl Blackwell in the morning time (be there around 6am) and fish at the fish house. lots of fish are caught there when the temps are cold. Lots of people to meet and maybe gain some info on new fishing spots. It does require a $5.00 lake pass or $50.00 yearly pass but its usually always good for some crappie

    thanks for the info....its about hr and half from me but its for sure worth the drive to get some great fish

    I'm sitting around wishing my TV had any type of fishing on it let alone crappie fishing, lol.
