    Default Litewire hooks

I want to put in a plug for a CDC member sponsor. He is currently running a drawing for free jigs up on the main page (Win Free Stuff.) I began using some of his jigheads last year and they are now my favorite. Previously, I was using the little plastic doo-dads to keep my hooks from snagging in the brush when deep brushpile fishing. I also used some weedless jigheads and they worked pretty good. The litewire hooks are just that - lighter than anything I have used before and they bend and pull loose extremely well. Then just bend them back. They are much lighter than Larry's Crappie Pro hooks (which are still a favorite when not in the brush.) Since beginning with the Litewires I have lost far fewer jigheads and I never have had a Crappie come off from the lite wire. Curtis has great communication and customer service also. Check out his free drawing. Lots of CDC members like his products.

Thanks for the kind words. I always strive to produce a good product. I do everything myself and I fish with these hooks. I have made many new friends thru the association with Crappie.com. The contests are just one way I can give back and support Crappie.com. In addition to the winners that will be selected by the random generator, I will select other entries to receive hooks of their choosing.....either Litewire, Sickle, Red Sickle, Bronze, or Gold.

I'm in the drawing also but just placed an order with Curtis for some Litewire Jigs. I've been reading about his products for a while now & after loosing a few jigs to the trees over the weekend decided it's time to give them a try. Placed my order late last night, woke up to find the PayPal invoice in my email, completed the transaction & he sent me the shipping/tracking info by noon my time. That's customer service at it's best!! Looking forward to trying them out upon their arrival….

what size line is recommended for these hooks? Is 6 pound Viscous line strong enough to bend the hooks or will it break before the hook straightens?

Good Luck with the hooks......I know I sent you some extra stuff......after all....it's Christmas. It's not always that fast because when I go fishing, don't take everything with me.....but If I have it I will mail from Lake Talquin in Fl. In some cases, I have to wait till I get home to mail. Thanks and you should receive Thursday....hopefully.

SC - I usually use 6 or 4 lb Viscous hi-vis and the hook always bent without breaking the line.

I see it states: Sickle, Red Sickle, and Gold (Not Litewire) also available.

Is it only the gold isn't lightwire or all three of them aren't?

I believe lightwire will be specified and all the others are just normal The sickle sample I got was not lightwire.
