Thread: Keystone lake / Skiatook Lake

Fished Keystone Wednesday evening. caught 40 or so with only 4 keepers. They were in 20' about 8' deep suspended over brush. I was using bobby garland baby shad and it didn't matter what color I dropped, they would hit it almost immediately. Wish I could have had that many keepers. I put in at pier 51 marina and fished that area.

Fished Keystone from 10 till about 3 today, the 23rd. Had my DIL with me. We tied up at the oil derrick just east of Prarie View ramp. Caught a bunch of dinks on shiners but nada on jigs. None at all big enough to keep. Caught 3 sandbass and snagged a gar. Guess I shoulda gone to carl blackwell with swollencrappie. Sounds like he tore em up.
