This year has been unusual it's muddy all the way to the dam. The water looks good down south of 9A bridge to Gaines Creek. Long town creek, Dutchess Creek looks good. I have pulled cranks and pushed cranks on this lake. To my experience you can catch crappie but like Winger said, lots if sandbass on the east side of the lake. I figure around 5-1 SB to Crappie. Now if you go South of Arrowhead the ratio changes 5-1 Crappie to SB. Not sure why either but it's like any technique don't give up and figure them out! Good Luck! EB
