Learned a ton, like taking off BOTH your transom tie downs before launching your boat. If you do forget to take one off and have to get it with the boat already in the water, make sure you take off your long sleeve sweatshirt. If you do get your long sleeves wet, make sure you don't leave your heavy coat in the truck if there is an arctic blast coming in...you might get a little cold. Now seriously, EB knows his stuff and I learned more in a day than I thought possible. By the end of the day I was running the trolling motor and tangling lines all by myself. We did also manage to catch a bunch of fish on a really nasty cold day that followed a pretty heavy rain. I think we ended with 30 nice keepers and put back probably twice that to grow a little more. My 13 yo son went along and he's still wearing a smile that would be tough to make go away. He told me on the way home that if I wanted to fill the freezer I needed to just sell the boat and start going with EB instead.
LOL!
Great pics, great smiles, my son and I did the same thing 3 yrs ago. Brian will teach ya a ton! Now you just got to get your wallet out and set your boat up to rig!
Great pics, sounds like you guys had a blast.
I enjoyed teaching you and Nick! Good luck and call me if you need anything! EB
That smile says it all! EB's a good teacher.

Some of my best memories are of fishing Eufaula with Melvin Underhill, the Crappie King, and my three sons back when EB was still doodle socking in his inflatable wading pool! Zach, Zeke and Zane will tell all you Dads and Grandads that those were the best hundred dollar bills I ever spent. With all the expenses involved in guiding, EB and Mark etc. will never get rich doing it but their clients surely leave the lake richer in many ways. Keep it up guys while I save up for my next Slabs 101 course soon.
George - You just need to save your quarters and slip a wee bit farther south and get into some slabs averaging 15". I tink I no wher da bee and I got minners too.
General George . Take a close look at the cypress trees in my Dinkmaster photo and you will see that you better look over your shoulder next time you go minner fishen. Leave me a few now.
Hmmmm, I dink I been sqwood again.
