Thread: Texoma

I haven't heard much about those creeks on the Wa****a arm. I've been in widomore creek, bell creek, Rock creek, and the house tops are good especially in March. There are some big crappie come from there. But they haven't had much water in them lately. EB

Haven't got to fish any since the fall.... Don't know if you have ever been over to Bridgeview and fished from the dock there but there have not been very many times I have gone over there and not caught crappie...

Well Hs2725 where you able to get out and catch any???? I don't know how much you have fished widow moore's but I know of a couple people that go out there and mop them crappie up.... Dumb old me.... I used to take my ranger down there and launch and fish for bass.... and didn't find out till recently that's it's got a lot of good crappie in there.... Of course at the time I wasn't a crappie fisherman either.... and I don't think I could get my ranger down in there now.... Plan on getting me a flat bottom and going out there this fall though.... I have heard that there is another place to launch from out there but not sure where.... Cody

Hey Cody, haven't been out lately. Went out to widow more a couple weeks ago for a little while but didn't do any good! Don't know where any of the brush piles are! I plan on going again when the weather warms up a bit. It's pretty rough getting a big boat into the water there. I took my small alum boat out there and it wasn't too bad. Maybe I'll get it all figured out one of these days lol! Harley

Well that sounds like a plan.... I am on a several month long vacation in another country right now but maybe when I make it back home this fall I will see you on the water.... And I haven't paid any attention to how that name is spelled in years lol... so sorry about misspelling it.... I was able to make it out there one time last year and my cousin and I caught a couple of channels and sandies and one crappie while fishing from the bank.... would love to hear how the fishing is going since I'm not going to get to do any for awhile.... so if you get bored feel free to post something on here I would be happy to read it....
