    Default Heat Wave

I love the heat. My body has always adjusted to it well especially since I am very active outside in the summer. But I have got to say that 112-115 degree heat every day is ridiculous. Think about it. If we get a break in this and the temp drops 20 degrees it will still be 95 degrees. LOL. I swear I smelled boiled fish at the lake the other day.

Same with me but 112 really slaps me in the face! 100 sounds almost cool!

I'm in the middle of a bathroom remodel and had to remove drywall off the ceiling which in turn made a whole bunch of blown in insulation come down into the shower area. The bathroom heated up pretty fast from the rush of attic air. I got on the ladder and stapled some 4 mil visqueen to the top of the ceiling joists, then took 4 large contractors bags of the insulation upstairs and into the attic to lay over the plastic. I was up there about 25 minutes and am guessing it was around 125 degrees or so. When I came down, I went outside to cool off. I didn't want to go from that kind of heat straight into the air conditioning. I remember last year when the 110 plus heat was around and a 100 day slipped in due to overcast and it felt like a cool front.

I'm thinking about a night time trip on the water this Saturday.
