    I-40 either east or west bound take the Fountainhead exit I believe its hwy 150 and go south. Follow the signs you cant miss it

    Belle Starr, From the Intersection of HWY 69 and I-40. Turn South aprox'ly 10 miles to Texanna Rd. or HWY 150 exit. Turn left on Texanna Rd about 3 miles (you will be going east) til you come to Campers Corner Store and there will be a brown corp sign saying Belle Satrr along the side of the road turn right 2 miles, the fishing dock is at the marina follow the signs.....Ranger

    I fished the south end again today. The water temperature was 52.7°. I found all of my fish,12 of them, in 20 feet of water 8 feet down. The bite was better earlier fishedfrom 1 to 5.

    Fountaihead exit is now called Lake Eufaula Road exit.....go figure

    It is Lake Eufaula Road now because it is Lake Eufaula State Park, not Fountainhead anymore. I think the reason for changing the name of the park was to differentiate it from the old lodge.
