His name was Drummond. He was doing boat inspections, and said he could not ticket anyone on dry ground. He was doing them as a courtesy. If everything on your boat checked out he gave you a sticker to put on your boat. That way you will not be checked the rest of the year. Seemed like an alright guy. Told Ranger had he been on the water he would have asked him to get off the water until he got the extinguisher fixed. So if he checked you and you didn't pass no harm. It may have prevented some from getting a ticket by being out on the water later without proper equipment.
