    Default Brush piles on ft. Gibson


    Does anyone know of any good brush piles on ft Gibson up around rocky point blue bill or flat rock creek area this is my first year to really get into crappie fishing on the lake and just moved up to coweta area done alot on the river down by muskogee and over in Billy creek but was wanting to try and find some good holes close to home. Thanks

    the odwc does not show many brushpiles on their maps. most are private made. i havent fish flatrock and bluebill much whitehorn is about as far north i go. maby some of the other guys will help.

    North side of fun Island? I don't know. I don't fish Gibson that much.

    Countryboy if you happen to put some of those woodpiles in the lake remember to log those waypoints and you can send em to me on private PM..dont bother to send em to KD..he wants Odie to cul my fish..lol

    I'll be sure and do that ranger and from everything I have seen on here looks like i need to take a trip down to eufaula if I wanna get on some big fish. I never fished it but everyone talks about it

    I also live in Coweta and fish the O and Gibson alot in my opinion you wont find per say brushpiles up that way if I was you I would target isolated wood that has floated in and hung up or rather sunk Gibson in the past had lots of man made brush but in recent years it has dwindled down to not much I get my info via humminbird side imaging so I think I know what I am talking about could be alot of brush around docks but I prefer open water fishing myself

    Hey thanks george I'll try that out there is a single dock headed into flat rock that has alot of stumps by hit that I'm gna try in the morning then there are some brush piles I found up in flat rock creek that I'm gna try so hopefully ill get into some fish. But thanks again to everyone for the tips
