    Default Summer/Fall Crappie Camp


    Craig (Crappie Reaper) and I are going to plan a late summer or early fall crappie camp. It is going to be on Oologah. Most likely it will be based out of Hawthorne Campgrounds by the dam. The facilities are nice and there is a ramp in the park. Everyone can launch at any of the ramps and fish many different areas of the lake. We thought everyone could get together in the evening and sit around and tell "stories".:D One night we could have a fish fry.

    Craig and I will decide on the dates in the next week or two. There is no way we are going to pick a date that fits everyones schedule.

    How many would be interested in something like that?

    I would. Priority one is prepping for deer hunting beginning 9/1 but if the date works I will attend. Scott

    i'm with scott s on this. we usually start hanging feeders and clearing for stands at the end of august or first of sept. but i would love to attend something like this.

    I'll make a tentative commitment for the time being. I'd love to come up and do some fishing/camping at Oologah. Sounds like a great idea.

    Sounds like a heck of a good time..always wanted to fish OOlogah anyway..so this gives me the oppurtunity if not before..count me in..

    Count me in! This sounds like fun! However; at some point the Friday Night Lights take over our life due to having a son that is a High School football star! If high school football isn't in the way - I'm in.
