I decided while the lake is low I needed to sweeten up my spots in our cove.
This is a little feeder creek that used to be good in the spring and after the 12" gullywasher in Sept. it scoured the silt out and made this dandy gravel bar to push sticks into.
My favorite sandy point with a live willow , cedar tree on out and now sticks for them to get around. I really want to try some glow jigs at night shallow here.
Here's an old bed I made back during the drought in 05'-06' it's still there. I add a couple of longer ones for visual reference for a marker, I hope the creek dont flood and wash out the ones on the gravel barI need to put in some down south.

Doesn't look terribly too muddy, but I bet it was fun trying to walk around on that stuff. You've done a good job and I can't wait to get down there and fish your spot.......... muhwaahhhaaaaaaaa!:D

I have found that 1 or 2 are better than say a big row of them, I would suspect a row will work better on a steep drop off? Going to test that theory too.
