Isn't there a fishing regulation that states, a limit of fish is for the day and not for each time you go out in a day.

I believe you are correct, but I never said he was going after Crappie. He also catfishes, but most of the time it's Crappie.
Man we hear these stories all the time about odler gentleman caching monsters then cleaning them and eating them. I was talking to a very good fisherman yesterday afternoon and he told me that they had caught a 18' fish out of Eufaula up the creek two weeks ago. They measured him on a board and didn't know exactly how long the board was, his tail was 2 inches from the end and when they got home they measured the board and it was 20 inches long. They were sick because they didn't have any scales! Anyway I had one last week that was 151/2 inches long and it weighed 2.2lbs. The one in Lake Wister last spring was over 20 inches and it weighed 4.2lbs. WOW!! "My blood gets to pumping over them slabbers". EB
I believe it, because I caught one below the dam this time last year that was 18.5 inches.
