    Default Fort Cobb ?


    im heading to fort cobb in the morning for some crappie is there any thing i need to know before getting on the lake permits or anything ill probally be fishing the dam area ill be in a bass tracker PT170tx with a 50hp mercury if ya see me dont be afraid to say hi

    Howd ya do at Cobb? I've fished the dock a couple times the last 3 yrs but thats it. I always think about runnin over there with the boat but havn't made it yet.

    well didn't make it down there that Saturday but made it that Sunday and we did ok caught a few crappie and a few saugeye

    I left out for fort Cobb again Saturday morning and pretty much spent all day at Cobb and did ok had a nice little mess of fish to clean ( about 40 keepers) and I seen southern womans and riggrunners boat Saturday also and must say yall have a super nice boat from what I saw of it it had a red cover over it and Texas stickers and an Oklahoma C.C stickers so kinda figured it was yalls

    Wow C.J. you did great! Those crappie are really colored up nice. Jigs or minnows?

    Hey, glad you made it to Cobb but why didn't you come along side and say "HOWDY" ? I stayed home with our house guest that day, but rigrunner and his friend was on the lake. They did pretty good with crappy and lots of catfish. Next time, you identify yourself so we can get together. We are home in Texas for a while now.

    Josh, Is that a public dock you're fishing off of? Never been to Cobb before...may have to make a trip in the next week or so.

    no i was on the privte boat slips but there is a public fishing dock there next to the marina i got a co-worker/ buddy that has a boat slip on Cobb i wasnt sure where and what yall were staying in southern woman if i have my way about it i might make a run back down there this weekend and bring my boat with me this time but not sure i'll probally just stay on my home lake ole Tbird this weekend and save Ft Cobb for another weekend

    I'm probably going to be making a run to fort Cobb here in about a week the 11th of November my buddy told me that Cobb is still booming right now
