Default Need Rod Recommendation for Spider Riggin

    Hey,

I am a newby to spider rigging..using a hodge podge of a poles I have accumulated. I'd like to get an even number of all the same length..seems to me it would be easier to keep track of. I have (or had until I broke it yesterday) a 14ft wally marshalll..it seems like it had a good backbone for the job. I've heard B n M makes some good rods but have never used them myself. So I am looking to you wiser more experienced crappie gurus to point me in the right direction.

A lot of spider riggers use different lengths. Anywhere from 8' to 14'. this allows a broader sweep of an area and keeps the tangles down some.

When Eufaula Boy gets back on here, he can give you tips on how to rig up and rod lengths you will need also.

    Why wouldn't cane poles work?
