Hey,
I am a newby to spider rigging..using a hodge podge of a poles I have accumulated. I'd like to get an even number of all the same length..seems to me it would be easier to keep track of. I have (or had until I broke it yesterday) a 14ft wally marshalll..it seems like it had a good backbone for the job. I've heard B n M makes some good rods but have never used them myself. So I am looking to you wiser more experienced crappie gurus to point me in the right direction.

Crappie George is the way to go! Good rods, Good backbone! Good price! Got some this spring from him and glad I did!!!
The Lip Ripper has some great poles also!!!
Ditto for Lip Rippers:D
A lot of spider riggers use different lengths. Anywhere from 8' to 14'. this allows a broader sweep of an area and keeps the tangles down some.
