    Default about cherokee rod co.

I won a fishing pole entering a crappie contest online to describe the rod, It has a custom butternut handle on a 5'-6" rod medium light weight action

I got to get out of the house and go fishin the other day I sat down on the old dock and set up my new fancy rod with my favorite jig and cork setup and slayed the crappie. I caught my limit up here on gibson in one hour I went home my wife didn't think fish where bitin cause I came home early and then I showed her the basket. So I like my new rod you can feel everthing your jig bumps into, I even let my Dad check it out and fish with it.
Thanks to LeLand at cherokee rod co. for the rod its the best rod I own now.

Those look pretty fancy... I've been thinking my family will either buy me one for Father's day or for my Birthday...

I've been checkin' the website out every other day or so to zero in on what I want.

Thanks to you all, we have some discount blanks arriving that were top of the line a few years ago. We will post on the board when they arrive. We also have some new rods to add to our lineup for 2011 that have just been released and are so new I'm waiting on my list for the specs. I will be updating our site soon so be looking for new rods there....it takes all my spare time just to take pics and update the site but at least I can do it myself now. Good fishin!!!

Any 11 footers with a good, stiff backbone Leland? I love the Slabstick but I wish it were 10 or even better, 11 feet long.

Here's a 12' in the Bulletproof blank model BP1446F-M That's a 6 power in matt finish blank awfully close to your buddy's rod.

When you buy one of Leland's rods then you have bought the best. Both best rod and most knowledgeable rod builder standing behind it, can't be beat:D

As I was walking off the fishing dock at Lake Eufaula Marina Sunday there was a mighty good lookin Cherokee rod propped up against the wall. The devil in me said "look at that, someone threw away a perfectly good fishin pole" then the angel side took over and fought off the urge.
