Why is it every time I try fish with minners I can't catch a darn fish one but I put on a Jig and catch all the darn fish but one. for example my dad can sit right next to me put a minner in the water and catch a fish i put a minner right next to where he is about 6 inches to a foot away from his spot and won't catch a thing but I put jig down there and I start catchin them am I doing somthing wrong or what is it any help.
