Thread: Kid's Lake in OKC

New member here =)

Kid's Lake is just to the east of Lake Hefner across the highway. I searched as much as I could to find a thread on this already, but are there any Kid's Lake fishers here in OKC? I live nearby and I like to go by there often. Unfortunately, I seem to have no luck with the crappies. Biggest one I ever caught there was 10-11". Tried minnows and jigs. If anybody has some info on this nice little pond, I would love to hear it, because it kills me to have a nice pond so close but not be very productive when i go..

I have taken my son to Dolese park, Hefner, Overholser and there are plenty of easy access places. There is a park over by overholser just for kids to fish, it is on the west side south of 36th.
