    Minnowtime/Peke, thanks for the heads up. I should have read the reviews before buying the two I have. Since I still have the receipts and haven't used either one, I'll probably take them back and stick with my river anchors for now!

    The richters look like they'd be great, but they seem a bit steep in price. BTW, both Cabela's and Bass Pro carry them.

    I am in Pa and cabela is where I got mine and yes they are costly but are great

    Here is what I found so far.

    I like the Richter anchors, can't afford the Power Pole Anchors , don't know how to make a Cajun anchor, never found a picture for a Wang anchor, and not sure about the "stay put" anchor. Anybody know anything about any of them?

    I wonder if the spike type anchors will stay put at Eufaula or Oologah...

    i bought a chene anchor from BPS and so far so good i like it just got to get a longer rope
